Which drilling rig should I choose for water wells?
The choice depends on well depth, soil category and site conditions. For wells up to 150 m on private plots, compact rigs with mud rotary drilling are suitable. For deep artesian wells in limestone — self-propelled URB-class rigs or crawler complexes with rotary-percussion drilling. Our engineers will select the configuration for your geology free of charge.
How much does a drilling rig cost and what factors affect the price?
The price depends on drilling depth, chassis type, drive power and tooling package. Compact rigs start from $3,800, water well rigs from $19,500, self-propelled URB-class rigs from $70,500, and rotary piling rigs from $195,000. The exact cost is calculated based on your technical specifications; leasing is available.
Why are Chinese drilling rigs — SANY, XCMG, Sunward — a good choice?
Modern Chinese manufacturers produce world-class drilling equipment: Rexroth/Kawasaki hydraulics, Cummins/Weichai engines, automated drilling systems. At the same time, prices are 30–50% lower than European equivalents, and spare parts are available from warehouses. We work directly with SANY, XCMG, Sunward factories — with factory warranty.
What are the delivery lead times for a drilling rig from China?
The typical lead time is 45–90 days from contract signing: manufacturing 20–35 days, customs and logistics 15–30 days, supervision and commissioning 3–7 days. In-stock models at the factory warehouse may be delivered faster — please inquire when submitting your request.
Is supervision and operator training included in the price?
Supervision and commissioning works are included in the basic supply package. Our team travels to the site, assembles the rig, performs calibration, test drilling and operator training. Operation manuals are available in English.
Can I purchase a drilling rig on lease?
Yes, we work with leading leasing companies. Leasing is available for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. Down payment from 10%, lease term up to 60 months. Submit a request and our manager will select terms and prepare a preliminary payment schedule.
What warranty do you provide on drilling rigs?
Warranty on the rig: 12 months or 2,000 engine hours; on main hydraulic assemblies and power unit: up to 24 months. Post-warranty service and supply of original spare parts and drilling tools — under a long-term service agreement.
How is a drilling rig delivered to my location?
Compact rigs are delivered in containers; self-propelled and crawler rigs on flatbed trucks with oversized load permits. Logistics to the site is included in the cost calculation, and the cargo is insured for the entire route. Unloading and installation are performed by our team.
